our 7 Step service process

We believe clinics should understand what happens during a professional laser service. Our 7-step process is designed to assess safety, performance, and overall system condition across IPL, Diode, Nd:YAG, and combination systems.

  • A visual and physical inspection of the system to identify visible wear, damage, or signs of deterioration.

    Includes:

    • External casing and panel inspection

    • Cables, connectors, pipes, and fittings

    • Accessible internal components

    • Removal of dust and debris where accessible

  • Assessment of electrical integrity and stability.

    Includes:

    • Inspection of electrical connections

    • Visual checks for signs of overheating or damage

    • Grounding and power supply checks

    • PAT testing where applicable

  • Inspection of cooling performance and fluid condition.

    Includes:

    • Coolant level and condition checks

    • Drain and refill with fresh de-ionised water (where applicable)

    • Inspection of flow paths, pipes, and connectors

    • Cooling fan and ventilation checks

Optional filter replacement available on request.

  • Verification of core safety-critical systems.

    Includes:

    • Emergency stop functionality

    • Interlock and safety circuit checks (where fitted)

    • Review of general safety indicators

    • Visual inspection of protective eyewear (condition only)

  • Inspection of handpieces or delivery systems for wear or degradation.

Why choose us?

  • We’re not tied to manufacturers or sales targets.
Our advice is based on machine condition and performance, not replacement agendas.

  • Laser Tech Pod was founded after seeing the impact of high costs, slow support, and poor communication from the clinic side — so our services are designed around real operational needs.

  • With a background in aerospace and Formula 1 electronics, we apply the same standards of precision, testing, and documentation to every service.

  • We openly share our 7-step service process, explain findings clearly, and never carry out work without approval.

  • From on-site servicing and Laser Health Checks to workshop diagnostics and repairs, we offer the right level of support — not a one-size-fits-all package.

  • No vague explanations, no unnecessary upselling — just straightforward advice and transparent pricing.

About
LASER TECH POD

Why Laser Tech Pod Was Founded

Laser Tech Pod was created after seeing first-hand the challenges clinics face with high manufacturer servicing costs, slow response times, and poor communication.

Through my wife’s clinic, it became clear that many practices were paying a premium for servicing without receiving clear explanations, flexibility, or timely support. Routine maintenance felt overpriced, and equipment downtime often came with little clarity.

That experience highlighted a gap in the industry — and Laser Tech Pod was built to fill it.

Engineering Background

Before founding Laser Tech Pod, I spent over 20 years in electronic engineering, working in industries where precision, reliability, and accountability are critical.

My background includes:

  • Aerospace engineering on Eurofighter Typhoon radar systems

  • Formula 1 electronics supporting Red Bull Racing

That high-reliability engineering mindset now underpins every service we provide — from diagnostics and performance checks to documentation and handover.

A Clinic-First, Independent Approach

Laser Tech Pod operates independently, allowing us to offer:

  • Honest, impartial advice

  • Clear explanations without jargon

  • Flexible service options to suit real clinic needs

  • Repairs and remedial work only carried out with approval

We believe clinics should understand their equipment, not feel pressured into unnecessary replacements or contracts.
